Whether you have attended church for years or you are visiting for the first time, you may find yourself wondering, “What should I expect?”

At Otterbein, you will find a relaxed, welcoming church family gathered to worship God, hear His Word, pray together, and encourage one another. You do not need to know all the words, understand every tradition, or have everything in your life figured out before you arrive. Come as you are. There is a place for you here.

3 Things We Will Always Do

We will always welcome you.

Whether you are new to church, returning after many years, or looking for a church home, we will be glad you came.

We will always point you toward Jesus.

Through worship, prayer, Scripture, and preaching, our desire is to help people know Christ and grow in their relationship with Him.

We will always make room for you to grow.

Questions are welcome. Faith is a journey, and none of us has arrived. We are learning together what it means to follow Jesus faithfully.

3 Things We Will Never Do

We will never ask you to embarrass yourself.

We will not single you out, make you stand, or ask you to introduce yourself in front of the congregation.

We will never require you to give to the offering.

Giving is an act of worship for those who consider Otterbein their church home. Guests should feel no pressure or obligation to give.

We will never expect you to have everything figured out.

You do not need to know the Bible, understand church customs, dress a certain way, or have a perfect life to worship with us.
